For regions other than network reporting regions the report shows the total suppliers, maximum choice, and minimum choice. Users can choose from retail parent companies or retail brands which are available for each December since 2011.

Lower numbers indicate a less concentrated market and higher numbers a more concentrated market. In concentrated markets with one or two large players and few competitors, there is generally less incentive for the large players to offer competitive pricing or to innovate.
