Internal transfer pricing

A generator-retailer is an electricity generator who generates at least 5% of the national generation volume in any one month of a financial year, and has at least 5% of the total active ICPs in any month of that same financial year. All generator-retailers are required under clauses 13.256 and 13.257 of the Code to report their Internal Transfer Pricing (ITP) information and methodology to the Authority no later than 90 calendar days from the end of their financial year.

ITP disclosure provides greater transparency for market participants and provides a clearer understanding of the internal transfer prices and the methodologies used to derive them.

The data presented here is used to create the the ITP benchmarks dashboard.

What are datasets?

Datasets are collections of files that often contain large volumes of data and are available for immediate download. Dataset users are typically analysts familiar with the electricity industry and have a need to obtain a large set of data or specific data on a regular basis.
