Report Q - Generation output by plant - how to identify unique plant, understand duplicates? Is it the unique combinations of a Network code, generator code, and POC?This looks to example that the POC cannot be the sole identifier and that this is therefore two different generation plants that inject as the same NSP?Is this the same generation plant and can inject across two networks at the same POC?And conversely, over time, one plant can change which POC it injects at.2. Are coordinates for generating stations available? We tried to do a join on the Node name and POC code variables from the respoctive files as they appeared to be similar at first glance but this wasn't succesful either.As discussed - grid connected generation from the existing generating plant list can be mapped via Node name to point of connection (POC) in the NSP table. Plant- and Unit-level Actual Generation (1) The Generation MD dataset has grid-injection values at power plant POCs, so the values are essentially 'Net Generation of Plant X' (total generation at plant minus power used and lost before the connection).The values are measured on-site by the power producer and are not measurements at a POC. (3) Both of these datasets are measured ~actual generation figures, and are not specifically bids or agreements to supply this this much power during a trading period. Historical data of generation and spot price . … Prices are determined at nodes or points of connection (POCs) on the grid by the SPD model.A site is just the the three letter code formed by stripping off the first three characters of the node or POC label - it denotes the geographic location.Gen_code is a name given to the generating plant doing the injecting at the POC.Anyway, I suggest you look up the NSP mapping table and find a POC near to WPG0331 from which to obtain a price.So the price table is going to have POCs in it that don't appear in the Generation_MD table.
