Wholesale datasets
The file below called '20230601_DispatchedGenerationPlant.csv' contains generating plant that are, or were, dispatched in real time by the system operator. Note that the records in this file are start and end dated, as attributes of the plant change through time. This file will be periodically updated - likely about once every six months. The file is prepared on a 'best endeavours' basis. Please contact us at emi@ea.govt.nz if you wish to provide us with corrections.
The Authority used to periodically update a more comprehensive list of generation plant, ie the file contained both grid-connected and embedded generation. The file is almost certainly incomplete and likely contains errors. In any event, the Authority is no longer able to continually update the file - the last update is the file below called '20151030_ExistingGenerationPlant.xls'.
