Retirement of Gnash

The copy of Gnash and the associated BigBag.Gnash file included in this directory is the final update of metering and 
electricity market-related data that will be provided by the Electricity Authority in this format. 
It includes data up to 30/09/2013.  

Further data updates will be provided through the Authority's data portal, available through the Authority website.


Embedded generation data

Due to a number of process issues associated with the changeover in reconciliation manager provider in 2008, data 
for embedded generation plant smaller than 10MW in size is not available in the Dataset for any half-hourly 
periods after 1 April 2008. As a result, calculations that include the smaller embedded generators should 
be considered to be incomplete for periods after that date (for example, the gross demand calculations included 
in the TXSLosses_GrossDemand.txt file are invalid post April 2008). The Authority is currently exploring the 
possibility of publishing summarised Reconciliation Manager demand and generation quantities to partially replace
the embedded generation information.
