GDX files for final pricing

A GDX  file is an input data file to be used with the vSPD  model.

GDX files are created from the SPD inputs extracted from an SPD case file. The naming convention for final pricing GDX files is described here.  A GDX file is prepared and published for each final pricing SPD case file received, regardless of the price status. Once the pricing manager has declared prices to be final, all GDX files associated with non-final prices for any given trading day will be removed from EMI datasets, leaving a single GDX file per day.

What are datasets?

Datasets are collections of files that often contain large volumes of data and are available for immediate download. Dataset users are typically analysts familiar with the electricity industry and have a need to obtain a large set of data or specific data on a regular basis.
