Prices in the wholesale market are determined using a model called SPD. An SPD case file is a zipped collection of text files containing all of the inputs to and outputs from a single run of the SPD model.
SPD case files for final pricing are available from about the middle of 2009. Depending on whether prices were provisional before they were interim, and whether or not a pricing error claim resulted in prices being recalculated, there may be several final pricing case files per day, although typically there are one or two. The most recently produced file can safely be assumed to be the case associated with prices that have been declared final.
