The files contained in this directory are the models and input data used by the Authority
for the work underpinning the "Analysis of historical electricity costs" report published in 
January 2014.

A brief description of each file is as follows:

HistoricalGenerationBuildandCosts.xlsx	: Generating plant capital and operating cost assumptions
HistoricalCostAnalysisFuelAssumptions.zip	: Generating plant fuel assumptions
NI_SI_Res_Ind_Com_Profile.xlsx	: Consumer profile assumptions
Profile_cost_Result_Summary_NationalModel_22_11_2013.xlsx	: Profile model results
NZED_MoE_MED_Reports.zip	: Historical Energy Data File and NZED reports

The profile model used to estimate the cost of supplying different consumer profile types is written 
in GAMS and requires a GAMS licence to run. While the model has not been provided here, it can be 
obtained on request via an email to emi@ea.govt.nz
