A new file of location factors has been placed in EMI datasets.
The location factors have been calculated for all nodes in each of five zones on a calendar year basis beginning in 1996 and running through to 2015. They have been calculated in accordance with clause 13.221 of the Code. Location factors represent an average nodal price relative to the average price at a designated reference node.
At some point we will make location factors available as an EMI report - this will then remove the need to update this file in datasets each year.
